MEET TOM

Because Taxes are Too High, Unlike his opponent Tom put HIS life on the line, and he is the most qualified.

Priorities:

Although Tom stresses the importance of fulfilling the entire strategic plan, his campaign promotes four key priorities:

1. Trust: Building trust between the government and its citizens by being trustworthy and avoiding compromising donations and affiliations, limiting government power, and restoring a true republic. The problem right now is how Preserve the Woodlands Political Action Committee dominates the board.

2. Leadership: Drawing on his extensive experience to provide visionary leadership. Everyone talks of George Mitchell's Vision, as well as they should. But George Mitchell didn't agree with George Mitchell's Original Vision when Kingwood was taken over by the City of Houston. With Mr. Mitchell no longer here we need a leader who will help unify our community.

3. Economic Development: Fostering growth and prosperity for our community. This will determine our whole future with no more growth in sight, aging of some housing, growing population around us, potential crime increase, and growing area competition for our economic development dollars. We need a holistic approach to save our future.

4. Transportation: Enhancing our city's infrastructure for a better quality of life. We CAN do this.

Accomplishments:

Tom's track record includes the creation of the "Community Contributor Award," a testament to his dedication to recognizing and rewarding outstanding citizens who make a difference in our community. Tom worked tirelessly to defeat the incorporation of The Woodlands and a champion preventing the 242 widening.

Community Involvement:

Tom is deeply committed to The Woodlands: A dedicated server at Hope Beyond Bridges taking his children with him to feed the homeless regularly. Serving on the Board of Directors for two villages. Member of the Law Enforcement Advisory Council. Vice President of a local non-profit.

Join Tom Chumbley, PhD in shaping the future of our Township. Together, we can avoid the bad and capitalize on the good as the area around us grows, plan for a successful tomorrow, and importantly reduce our property tax bill.
